Seen a Ferrari 365 P?
In Nashville you expect country music, barbecue and cold beer. What you don’t expect is a display of Italian automobiles very seldom seen outside of museums. Alfa Romeo, Bizzarrini, Ducati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lancia and Maserati. With the ultra-rare Alfa Romeo BAT models 5, 7 and 9 from the 1950s and a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.
Ferrari 365 P, mid-engine V12, three seats. Ferrari made just 2.
ATS was the first Italian sports car to have a mid-engine layout with a 220 HP V-8. Just 12 were ever built.
Who knew Lincoln would even consider this? Beautiful…
A collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Bertone, they only 3 BATS were built and they are all currently in Nashville on display.

At the First Center for Visual Arts, sits a dark blue Ferrari 250 GTO, and to my jaded eye, that was the least exciting car in the display.
About 1hr and 20 min by plane, get a cheap coach ticket (Frontier $75/one way) and go see cars you are never likely to see again.
Bellissima! The Italian Automotive Renaissance, runs through October 9th.
