Tired of beating your street machine up on the track?
Several Chicago friends have decided to make room for new equipment, reluctantly offering for sale their very quick Lola T88/90. Offered at Bring A Trailer, you can get the full specs, history and photos at the link below.
Originally built to compete in the Sports 2000 racing class, chassis #12 was purchased by the sellers seven years ago and has since been refinished in British Racing Green. The Ford 2.0L inline-four is mated to a Hewland 4-speed transaxle, which comes with 17 different gear sets. In the last seven years, this Lola has competed throughout the Midwest and holds the Midwest Council Sports 2000 lap record at the Autobahn Country Club South Course. It also achieved an overall win at the 2017 fall vintage endurance race at Road America. Lola built race cars for the Sports 2000 class from 1977 to 1990, and this later example represents developments made as the class evolved through both professional and amateur series. This T88/90 is now offered on a bill of sale in Illinois with spares and logbooks.
