The controversial finish when Ford beat Ferrari


“8 Meters,” a documentary about the epic battle between two titans of industry in the 1960s – and the drama that played out between four drivers racing for the same team for the ultimate victory – has been named an official selection of the 2016 Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. Produced by Kahn Media for The Petersen Automotive Museum and Superformance, the movie features Mario Andretti, Carroll Shelby, authors A.J. Baime and Preston Lerner, original Shelby GT40 team members Chris Amon, Charles Agapiou and Dave Friedman and Ford racing engineer Joe Macura.

The 2016 Los Angeles International Short Film Festival will be held September 1 – 8 in downtown Los Angeles at the Regal L.A. LIVE: A Barco Innovation Center. 1000 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015
