I got a note from a reader regarding the new Jaguar F-type and that he remembered seeing the Italian version a little while back.

Nosing around led me to this little Alfa from the Geneva auto show, 2010.

Pininfarina has been cranking out some of the best designs on earth for more than 80 years, so it comes as no surprise that they are responsible for penning this body.

The 2uettottanta concept is Pininfarina’s vision for how a next-generation Alfa spider should look.

Paying obvious homage to the 60’s-era Duetto of The Graduate fame, the 2 refers to the two seat capacity and this little car is a stunner.

I love Italian cars but their business acumen often leaves me shaking my head.  I’m afraid this little baby will languish while the world waits, and waits, and….
