A few years back, Brit Alex Lynn had the good fortune to pilot a Williams Heritage FW13B up the famous hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. He most recently drove in Formula E for DS Virgin Racing and is now involved as an Aston Martin Racing team driver in the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship.
But he looked the happiest at Goodwood in this Williams Heritage F1 car. Maybe, like me, you’ve seen it before, but it’s worth another look.
The Williams FW13B was used by the Williams team during the 1990 season when it was raced by Thierry Bousten and Riccardo Patrese, winning at the San Marino and Hungarian grands prix.
