Serious Money-Penny…!
Like so many others, James Bond, was the first super-spy in my life. I and millions of other teenage kids in the 60’s, simply couldn’t get enough of 007, and the books I read and tossed are now near and dear to fans everywhere. It appears very dear, indeed.
I stumbled on this offer by rare books seller AbeBooks of London, and spent a morning going through my closets, praying something remained of my youthful library. Alas.
The latest Bond movie, No Time To Die, reminds us all of the media juggernaut Ian Fleming gave birth to in 1953, and how bits and pieces of Bond memorabilia, like these novels, are always going to be treasured.
All complete with original, non price-clipped first edition dust jackets, except for Casino Royal (with facsimile jacket). A couple of the editions are ex-library. Live and Let Die is the rare first/first with a second state jacket. The Spy Who Loved Me signed by Caroline Monroe (Naomi) and includes a recent signed postcard acquired from her to verify the signature. Octopussy is in unread condition. Complete with a bespoke protective perspex presentation case entirely visible from all sides. Seller Inventory # 000001
Available, I assume, for a limited time, and for the discerning few, you can also purchase some individual James Bond novels on a limited basis.
