…for generations of the future.

Porsche builds more than 300,000 cars a year and in 2023, 50,000 of those were 911’s. Of those 50,000 purchasers, I’m guessing 99.9% of them spent serious time configuring what there dream machine was going to look like.

Even if you’re not shopping for your ideally spec’ed 911, Sacrilege Motors Virtual Showroom is a fun way to dab paint, upholstery and wheels onto one the famous Stuttgart brand. Created by Brigade, the same team who developed custom online configurators for Singer Vehicles and Bollinger Motors, Sacrilege Motors Virtual Showroom grants you the ability to do bespoke to your heart’s content, all around a very special car, a Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet Turbo-look, one of 250 made.

“I knew early on when (Sacrilege Motors co-founder) Bobby Singh and I  (Phillip Wagenheim) were discussing the specs…and considering how many options we had before us, that prospective owners would desire an easy way to visualize their specific build,” said Wagenheim. “David Dimeola and his team at Brigade were up to the challenge and delivered a Virtual Showroom that exceeded our expectations.”

At the virtual showroom you can:

Which leads us to the “why” of this special configurator, the SR001 Blackbird.

Nicknamed Blackbird by its owner, in honor of the supersonic Lockheed SR-71 aircraft, this triple black commission, a 1992 Porsche® Classic America Roadster, is the first to be restored, performance-tuned, and converted to an electric powertrain at Sacrilege Motors’ headquarters in Lakeville, CT. Housed in a former Skip Barber facility, Sacrilege Motors chose the location for its proximity to the historic Lime Rock Park racing circuit, where the SR001 Blackbird Commission’s development testing took place.

A Limited-Edition All Electric Classic

The Porsche® America Roadster is a limited-edition, U.S. version of the Porsche® 911® Carrera® 2 Cabriolet Turbo-look, one of 250 made. Originally equipped with a Tiptronic® transmission, this car now has a single-gear, all-electric powertrain.

500HP of Precision-Tuned Performance

With great power comes the need for enhanced handling and stability. So, Bobby Singh, the President and Chief Engineer of Sacrilege Motors, along with the help of Penske Racing, created a bespoke suspension that will be unmatched for decades. In short, high speed turns won’t be a problem.
