Rumors have shocked sports and luxury car manufacturers around the world, with the idea that State Farm Insurance, a Bloomington, IL mutual company, is on the verge of announcing a new ultra-high performance sports car.
This marks the first known foray into automobile production for State Farm, and the insurance juggernaut appears none too keen on answering questions.
However, documents smuggled out of the corporate office reveal heavy use of composite materials, and in an obvious bid to compete with the Lamborghini Aventador and the Ferrari F12, a turbo-charged V-8 producing somewhere in the vicinity of 700HP is believed to provide the locomotion.
Heavily disguised as a Mini Paceman Cooper S, the car was caught testing at the Nurburgring. Spy video below.
Sources in Bloomington, IL were simply quoted as “no comment”.
Expect release on April 1st.
