Near and dear to me, I got married on the beach in Carmel,-By-The-Sea, a town filled with restaurants, bars and wine tastings, all compressed between a rather short stretch between the Pacific Ocean and US 1. From upscale to casual, it’s easy to find food, or drink, and occasionally both, rolled into one.
Pangean Grill on Ocean Ave is always crowded, especially so during Pebble Beach and car event weeks. Worth the wait, they make a killer Bloody Mary that stands as my very definition of “happy meal”.
Loaded into a very large glass is celery, bacon, jumbo shrimp, gherkins, jalapeños, olives, and a taquito, all slightly elevated above a delicious broth of bloody with your choice of tequila, vodka or gin.
Pangaea Grill is Where the Flavors of the East and West Unite to Bring you Steaks, Seafood and Asian Fusion. Offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our local community and travelers from around the world.
Friendly, knowledgable staff, reasonably priced menu, a bike ride away from the Monterey Peninsula, like all of Carmel, very pet friendly.
