Learning To Drive Lamborghinis On The Ice

Ten years running, Lamborghini has just wrapped up  another celebration on ice. The event took place in Livigno, an Italian Alps village, and featured three iconic Lamborghini models: the new Urus SE Super SUV, the Revuelto V12 super sports car, and the all-terrain Huracán Sterrato.

Guests from around the world gathered to test their driving abilities on a frozen, snow covered, track. They had the opportunity to drive these remarkable vehicles and push them to their limits as instructors from Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing team provided guidance on handling the cars and optimizing their performance, traction, and agility on the extremely slick surfaces.

Thanks to Bridgestone, Lamborghini’s Official Technical Partner, which supplied custom-engineered Blizzak LM005 premium tires optimised for snow and ice, participants were able to explore the dynamic potential of the cars to the fullest. Wonderful tires they most be as Lamborghini reports no sheet metal damaged in what must have often been a white-knuckled driving experience.

Participants were treated to an exceptional blend of exhilaration and relaxation. Macron, a renowned Italian sportswear brand, provided personalized jackets for all attendees, including instructors. Additionally, participants received commemorative items to take home. Guests  were accommodated in luxurious lodgings, dining on gourmet cuisine, including access to the Lamborghini VIP lounge overlooking the track, where drivers and guests could relax between driving sessions. Luxury audio brand Sonus Faber of Veneto, Italy, enriched the experience by installing two OMNIA systems, creating an all-enveloping sound atmosphere for the guests. In addition, during the second dinner at the hotel, guests had an opportunity to be immersed in an authentic sound experience aboard the Temerario, with personalized sessions designed to highlight Sonus Faber’s advanced acoustic features available inside the vehicles. Every evening, guests were feted with exquisite dinners in beautiful mountain locations, including a cozy Alps chalet.

The Mach I and Mach II races  June 16th-June 26th, will be held at the renowned 2.5 mile Vallelunga Circuit in Rome, the Eternal City. This historic venue will provide a backdrop of unparalleled grandeur for these extraordinary races. Participants will have the privilege of exploring the boundaries of Lamborghini’s super sports cars in a location steeped in history and beauty.
