When Fort Knox just won’t do.
On average, almost 400,000 residential fires happen every year and with the planet warming up, more and more people will find themselves dealing with the charred remains of what they once called home. The use of personal safes have been on the rise for the last few decades, with those most in harms way most eager for a way to protect jewelry, wills, cash, firearms, and photos, all subject to loss when fire or flooding or theft occurs.
For those interested in the truly exclusive, consider the Bugatti Hyper Safe Collection, a collaboration between Bugatti International and Buben&Zorweg, manufacturers of ultra high-security safes and the finest in watch winders.
With visual links to Bugatti including dimmable ambient lighting from the Bugatti Chiron to the shark tail line at the top, reminiscent of the Bugatti Type 57, exacting details create a purposeful and exclusive line of hyper safes dedicated to security and exacting craftsmanship. Inside, each safe contains a special drawer impervious to radio wave scanning, reducing the chance of keys being electronically copied.
Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director at Bugatti International, said: “Buben&Zorweg shares our ethos of creating unique masterpieces. By working closely with their team for more than 18 months we have developed a range of limited edition high-security safes that embody the spirit of both of our brands. Timeless design, ultimate craftsmanship and technology that pushes boundaries.”
Three distinct safes are available: The Hyper-Light model use Napa leather and pear beige and grey with a stone matte finish. The Hyper-Dark combines the same Napa leather with mocha and powder grey colors for a richer hue, while the Hyper-Track model is all Bugatti with Napa leather, and the French Racing Blue Bugatti originally wore in its early racing history.
75 safes will be built in total, with 25 of each type of safe produced.
